Career Planing

For people who are preparing to venture out into the real world with responsibility and heavy independence. What are your plans? How are you going to achieve theses goals? What should you be doing now to secure your position in the future?

• Find out what you like to do (if you don't already know). Trying different things, even things you think you wouldn't like...create some type of plan to start gearing your life toward goals, and set them high because the higher you set them, the more you will strive to reach it. Even if you don't get there you will see that you got farther then you ever thought you could! 
• You have your goals! Good. What are the steps to working toward your career? Every job is different, but usually it's a good idea to get involved in your particular field right away. Take internships, volunteer for that job. Anything that is related to your filed you need to be in it! For me theater is what I love, I volunteer, I have an internship this summer. There are numerous ways to get the skill that your niche requires.

Theses are just the bear steps to getting an edge on your competitors in your line of work. The more you practice, and the more employers see on your resume the more likely they are to higher you instead of some one who just studied their passion in collage. You need to go above what the regular requirements are and show them that this job was made for you!
