We all love things that captivate our attention. That give us, what some may call "a reason to live", but how do we feel when the event or person is making money...off of you? Athletes, if you didn't know make a shit ton of money on your dime; you spend the money at theses events, you buy the collectible items, and you put endless time and effort towards something that could be better off with or without you! Their salary easily reaches into the millions. There is two sides of the spectrum. Some believe that an athlete should make as much money as the people (you and I) are willing to pay. Others highly believe that you should never get paid that much money to play a game!  I'm stuck somewhere in the middle. When a person makes it big, they (no matter how you feel about them) undoubtedly are liked by someone, someone who is going to break the bank just to see them play. And I just don't understand that. Why would anyone take money away from themselves just to see ...

Orange is the New Black is a new Netflix original with a lot of graphic scenes. The story follow Piper (Taylor Schilling) who was a lesbian/ is a lesbian who is, with her lover Alex (Laura Prepon) who ran a drug organization, and Alex asked piper to carry a bag from the airport which had drug money in it.Ten years later Piper decides to confess to her crime, and has been sentenced to 15 months in jail. I'm interested in this series which has been called " Creative and witty". Expect to see boobs and bad behavior (after all she is in jail). I love a series that foreshadow and leave a whole gallon full of unanswered questions. This show will definitely be added to my list! Solid 9/10 By: Calvin Perrier

Bitcoin, if you didn't already know, is a form of currency much like our dollar bill, and allows you to buy things online directly. The best way I could explain it, is as cash online! Now that you know what it is, and all that, on to the big question! Should you use Bitcoin? I was sketchy about Bitcoin when it first came out in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto. I'm aware that the internet is the future, and everything is turning digital, but there is usually a glitch or mess up in a software in the beginning. The company did have a technical glitch in March of 2013. Despite that many companies have started to accept Bitcoin as payment, along with several non-profit organizations. I definitely would say to be wary of this company and watch it, and until they improve the system to were no malfunctions or as little as possible, will happen, and then you should slowly start putting your eggs (not all your eggs) in that basket. Admit it, we love the man in the blue and red spandex, bringing us wonder-lust and above all hope, but shouldn't the cast live up to the same expectations put forth by the cast in Spider-Man 2 ? I know new people take some getting use too, but Tobey Maguire will always hold a special place in my heart! The movie wasn't different from the others memories of his father, out-of-touch relationship with the girl, and (our favorite part) the villains. I liked how the person he saved would come against him. This cast, what to say, this cast did not give me enough passion and grit. Andrew Garfield's (Peter Parker) performance lacked at times, and didn't leave me wanting to be spider-man, however, he did bring charm to the character. Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) shined through majority of the film, she had her problems, yes!, but overall she is what I imagined Mary Jane to be like, and for this reason, this movie is a pass! In Lana's recent song released June 5th,  Ultraviolence,  the lyrics, to some have made them think Lana "glorifies" domestic violence, with this line from the song " hit hurt me, but it felt like true love" and " he hit me, and it felt like a kiss ". Is Lana in favor of domestic violence? To this I would say yes and no! The character that Elizabeth Grant has created seems to be all for the throwing-against-the-wall type of relationship, which I for one, am very interested in. That's why I love her, the sinful interest and rebellious like cause; she definitely pulls it off. Not saying that violence of any kind is acceptable, but there is a dark tone that is around, which makes me curious! And makes you curious as well! This film is based on the life of Margaret Thatcher played by Meryl Streep. Thatcher was the longest serving Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990. This movie is easily one of the best classics I've seen in a while. Following old Margaret Thatcher, having flashbacks on her life, and the power that has been lost with her aging. She begins to slowly lose her grip on reality which causes her to question, if what she has done as the Prime Minister has been beneficial to the U.K. Going back to her rise to power, and the men that stood in her way, even those that were close to her. The question we all have to ask when we get to a certain age! Have I done enough? This is more so for her, because she ruled as Prime Minister. Meryl Streep's performance has gotten stellar reviews and well needed praise. The way she draws strength from this character is just amazing! All of us have a certain comfort level about many topics, but when friends come into the picture should you be open about everything or respect each others boundaries? Let's start with being open, which has many benefits. Telling important things about you to a friend makes you have a stronger and deeper emotional connection to that person. Creating a new found level of friendship that would not be there if you didn't say anything! Through that friendship you will come into contact with many issues, and you will be able to use each other for support. Then there's respecting boundaries, which can also be healthy to a relationship. When you know what you want and what you don't, the friendship can sail more smoothly. If your friend feels uncomfortable about a topic then don't talk about it or try to help them get the same comfort level you have, and your friend could help you in-turn.
