Should you Quit?

According to Merriam Webster, quitting is a release from obligation, charge, or penalty. Society has taught us that it is looked down upon, that giving up on something is bad or shameful. But is it really? I understand that us as a human race, we would all like to succeed at everything that we place our tiny hands on, but that will not be the case all the time. People have been so influenced by others that it makes the whole community scared, and in turn affecting other communities as well. Religious organizations and many others have had their hand in swaying the general opinion of the people. They always promote staying with them well, what if you don't want to do it anymore? What if you(hold for dramatic affect) QUIT! No one can really stop you, changing your mind is actually, in fact, your choice! Maybe, you're not quitting maybe you you had an epiphany and don't want what you had or are doing. You will come to a lot of moments of awareness, and that will cause a change of heart and of action. Taking a moment from my life, I was once dating a closeted person he was as close to a perfect relationship I got to, but with the exception that no one knew and having something you want to scream to the world but can't is extremely nerve-racking. I, after a long time of thinking maybe he'll come around, it never happened, and I left him, quitting! It happens. And when it does you have to absolutely feel you made the right decision.
So quit, quit, and quit some more until you are satisfied with how your life is progressing and it is headed in the direction that you want it to go to! There is a book I am reading called Unhooked: How to Quit Anything by Susan S. and Frederick W. which is available on Amazon $10.80 (paperback)
